  CHAIRMAN MILLER  called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order          
 at 11:09 p.m.                                                                 
                                                                               
 CHAIRMAN MILLER brought  CSHJR 47(STA)  (AK NAT'L GUARD YOUTH CORPS           
 CHALLENGE PROG) before the committee.  Hearing no discussion, he              
 asked for the pleasure of the committee.                                      
                                                                               
 SENATOR PEARCE moved and asked unanimous consent CSHJR 47(STA) be             
 approved for calendaring.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.

 for calendaring.  SENATOR PEARCE objected.  The roll was taken with           
 the following result:  Senators Salo, Duncan, Sharp and Miller                
 voted "Yea" and Senator Pearce voted "Nay."  The Chairman stated              
 the calendaring motion carried.
